For more details, please click on respective systems below: Drying systems Our drying systems are suitable for drying of bio-fuel, sludge, bio-mass, DDGS (distillation residues), orange peel and many other agro products. The system has been used for heat treatment, pre-conditioning and sterilisation of rape seed, soya beans, sun-flowers, pressed cake, animal feed, food items for human consumption etc. The applications are many. The Exergy dryer is a superheated steam drying system for solid materials like paper pulp & paper, wood chips, saw dust, bark, sugar beat pulp, peat, sludge, wet solid waste. High-pressure steam, electricity, or flue gas can be used indirectly as heat source for drying. About 80-90 % of the primary energy can be recovered as low-pressure steam, i.e. the evaporated steam. The drying process takes place in a completely closed loop and inert steam atmosphere. This means that we avoid emissions to atmosphere and there is no risk for fire or explosion.
Exergy Bed Dryer (patented) is very cost effective technology to utilise low grade heat such as waste heat from process plants to pre-dry bio-mass to 60-70% dry solids. This results in increased heat value and boiler efficiency. The system is robust in design with small number of moving parts requiring very low maintenance. The dryer plant can be combined with surge and feeding facility.
